Mobile data and analytics firm App Annie has just launched App Annie Ascend. – a mobile performance suite for app marketing data and ad analytics.
According to the company’s CEO, Ted Krantz, the solution provides side-by-side comparison of market data and an advertiser’s analytics.

“Ascend enables publishers and brands across the globe to easily aggregate disparate advertising data sources, assemble them in to a single view and drive actionable insights,” he said.
Brands and publishers typically optimise advertising revenue and user acquisition by tapping into fragmented data sources from demand and supply advertising. They rely heavily on agencies and their own teams instead of optimising consumer value.
Ascend essentially aggregates ad data including metrics like customer acquisition costs and lifetime value to make the process less complex. And this seems to be paying off.
