Samsung Updates Galaxy Store UI With More Focus on Gaming

Samsung is tweaking the Galaxy Store and making a couple of changes to the app store's interface.

If you're a Samsung Galaxy device owner, you probably use the Galaxy Store as a way to download apps and games, so getting an update that makes finding apps more pleasant is always a good thing.

Samsung's Updated Galaxy Store

Samsung described the new Galaxy Store experience as the place for casual and hardcore gamers. With that, it's clear that Samsung is focusing on gaming more than it has in the past. Samsung's post about the news is even titled Galaxy Store Goes All-in for Gaming.

The update not only makes finding stuff on the Galaxy Store easier, but it reminds gamers that Fortnite is available to download. In fact, it's the only mobile app store in the USA where you can still download the beloved battle royale game.

Not only does the Galaxy Store feature Fortnite, but it also has Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for lots of streaming games with a subscription.

However, it's not all about games as the entire layout of the store has been streamlined. Home, Games, For Galaxy, and Watch tabs have been replaced with just Games and Apps, which should make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Galaxy Store Update Availability

The updated Galaxy Store is rolling out now, so you may see it on your device. If not, you may need to give it some time.

The folks at 9To5Google reported that they do not see the update in Europe yet, so you may not get the new update right away if you're outside of the US.
