If you use your Google Nest devices a lot, you may wonder how much data you've used with all the streaming you've done. Previously, there was no way to check for sure; however, Google is changing that with a new update.
The New Data Usage Report on Google Home
News of this feature arrived on 9 to 5 Google. The new feature will arrive as part of an update to the Google Home app and will enhance the Wi-Fi shortcut with additional options.
Within these additional options are data usage charts, which track your upload and download rate in real-time. It's a great addition if you're trying to work out what's soaking up your monthly bandwidth usage.
If you think you'll love this feature, keep your eyes out for the Google Home 2.34 update which is rolling out for Android and iOS right now.
