Canva Pro Customers Can Now Schedule Instagram Posts

Canva, the popular graphics design service, will now allow users to directly schedule posts to Instagram. This is made possible with Canva's Content Planner feature that is available to all Canva Pro users.

Instagram Is the Latest Addition to Content Planner

While the Content Planner feature has been around for a while, a lack of Instagram scheduling was always felt. With an Instagram integration, users can now manage all their social media post scheduling from a single interface.

In a press release on Business Wire, Canva co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Cameron Adams said:

Instagram content scheduling has been one of our most requested features, so we’re thrilled to be launching this new product to our community. It’ll help them to share the right message at the right time, without having to be awake at 2am or sign up for yet another product.

Using Content Planner, users can now schedule Instagram posts or videos months ahead of time.

However, the Instagram API will only allow one Canva Pro user to link their account with one Instagram Business account. Additionally, a maximum of 25 posts can be scheduled in a single day.

Users also have Canva's Magic Resize Tool at their disposal if they want to resize their existing designs for Instagram.

All Canva Pro users already have access to Canva's library of over 100 million images, video, and audio. Needless to say, these can be used as designs or templates for scheduled Instagram posts

Content Planner Works Across Multiple Social Media Platforms

With the addition of Instagram post scheduling, Canva's Content Planner is indeed a valuable tool for creators to have.

The tool already supports major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Weibo, and Pinterest.

In addition, the Calendar View feature within Canva Pro offers users an easy way to see all their scheduled posts in a simple and easy to use interface.

All in all, Content Planner offers a mix of "social media content creation and management tools together under one subscription."

New Canva Pro Users Can Try Content Planner for Free

In the press release, Canva highlights the fact that new Canva Pro users are "eligible for a 30-day free trial" of Content Planner.

The addition of Instagram to Content Planner is sure to grab the attention of new users and maybe even increase the subscription numbers of Canva Pro.
