Apple added a search suggestion feature to its App Store which makes it easier to find apps.
Now, when a user types a search term, the App Store will try to predict what they’re looking for and make a few suggestions. Apps are narrowed down once a user clicks on a suggested app term.
Here’s an example of how this would work. Say you are searching for “health”. The App Store now shows shows a range of terms including “mental”, “food”, “tracker”, “phone”, and “battery” below the search them.
When you click on one of the suggestions, the corresponding apps are pulled up.

For now, the addition is only available in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia.
They’ve been trialed since early April.
The results also display Search Ads of promoted apps.
It’s not certain if the addition benefits developers, but it certainly makes the search easier for users.
