Snap recently announced the launch of new Snap Originals – a series of video shows specifically created for mobile devices.
The company also unveiled a Creator Marketplace to help businesses collaborate with Creators across the Snap Lens Network to create AR experiences.
To date, the messaging app has created 128 Original series that have attracted a viewership of over 85% of Gen Z users. Shows focus on issues that are important to Gen Z such as racial and social justice.
The new Creator Marketplace makes it easier for brands and businesses to get in touch with Lens Creators and partners to boost presence.
“For businesses, this is a new opportunity to leverage the creativity and expertise of Snap Creators – who know the Snapchat Generation best! – to drive ROI for Snapchat marketing activity. For Creators, it opens the door to greater partnership opportunities with all kinds of brands so that Creators can build their own business on Snapchat,” the company said in a blog post.
The Marketplace is set to launch later this month with a select group of AR Creators and Snap plans to expand it throughout 2022.
