And the most downloaded game of July 2021 was…PUBG Mobile from Tencent in part due to strong installs coming out of India.
That’s according to new data released by SensorTower. Count Masters and My Talking Angela 2 scored in second and third spot.
Count Masters hit 24.4 million installs last month with the US responsible for 10.6% of total downloads and India 7%.
Overall, the global mobile gaming market saw 4.7 billion downloads across App Stores and Google Play last year, which is a slight drop of 2.3% over 2020.
Downloads in India were highest at 815 million which positions the country as a powerhouse for installs.
The US ranked second for downloads at 9.3%, followed by Brazil at 8.3%.
