After a year of lockdowns, the top five ticketing apps in the US are seeing a return to former glory.
Installs for Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, StubHub, SeatGeek and AXS Tickets grew notably. Together they climbed 689% to 1.8 million installs which iOS 228,000 more than in 2020.
In July alone, app installs rose 2 million for these top 5 event apps.
Downloads jumped by 1 million in US app stores, 18% higher than in July 2019.
While Ticketmaster saw the most installs, AXS had a highest growth at 61%.
Meanwhile, installs for ticketing apps in the UK also increased.
Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, Skiddle, AXS Tickets, and Fatsoma saw installs climb 73% to 296,000 which exceeded pre-pandemic installs by 36%.
It shows that customers are hungry to get out and about.
Eventbrite saw the highest UK installs at 106,000 downloads.
