TikTok was the most downloaded non-gaming app in July 2021 globally.
The app saw some 63 million installs during the summer month, according to figures from SensorTower.
Installs were highest in China at 15%, followed by the US with 9%.
Among the top 10 rank of non-gaming apps Facebook-owned apps Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp all scored in the top 5. Snapchat, Zoom, Telegram, CapCut and Google Meet rounded out the top 10.
Facebook scored 53 million installs during July 2021 with India being responsible for 27% of them followed by the US at 7%.
