Google will officially unveil the next generation of its Pixel phones on October 19th.
But as has become the norm, smartphones leak way before their official launch. And for the Google Pixel 6, things are no different. Several features coming to the Pixel 6 have already been leaked or confirmed, but the latest leak provides more nitty-gritty details about the upcoming device.

The New Pixel 6 Leak
More details about the upcoming Google Pixel 6 series have been leaked online. The new leak confirms the previously announced Pixel 6 features plus more details about the devices.
The leak comes from UK-based retailer Carphone Warehouse, which accidentally published full marketing images of the phones, first spotted by the infamous device leaker Evan Blass.
The latest leak provides more details on the charging speed, camera features, display, and software support. Read on to find out more.
Display
Google Pixel 6 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ display, while the bigger Pixel 6 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD panel. The Pro also boasts a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Like the iPhone 13 Pro, it will drop down the refresh rate to 10Hz to save on battery, all thanks to LTPO technology.
The Pixel 6 Pro also includes Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus atop for maximum protection.
Pixel 6 Camera
The camera is usually one of the most exciting features of the modern smartphone. That has been the case, especially in recent times when improvements in other areas are increasingly becoming minimal from one generation to the next.
The Google Pixel 6 includes a 50MP primary camera and a secondary 12MP ultra-wide camera. The Pro model includes both of those, plus a 48MP telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
The new 50MP primary camera—the largest in a Pixel device to date—captures more light and should translate to more detailed photos with richer and more accurate colors even during the night.
There's an 8MP selfie camera on the standard Pixel 6 and a 12MP one on the Pro.
These details were already leaked in previous reports about the Pixel 6 launch. However, fresh details from the Carphone Warehouse website reveal a new camera feature dubbed Magic Eraser, which will help you automatically remove photobombers and other unwanted objects in your images.
Another new camera feature, appropriately named Face Unblur, will remove the blur on faces to make them look sharper.

Longer Software Support
Google's Pixel lineup has been the standard for longer software support until recently when Samsung and a few other Android OEMs stepped up their game. Google is seemingly ready to take it a mile further in terms of software support.
In the marketing images published, Google promises to offer at least five years of Android security updates. This is a slight step up from the previous four-year promise.
It's not clear if the company will also increase the number of major software upgrades. Rumors on the possibility of Google offering five years of software support first came around in July.
Pixel 6 Charging Speeds
The Google Pixel 6 series is expected to include bigger batteries and fast-charging support. The new leak reveals finer details on what we should expect.
Both devices will charge up to 30W, a massive upgrade from the 18W cap on the recently unveiled Pixel 5a.
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will also support wireless charging but with speeds capped at 21W and 23W, respectively. These impressive speeds are all possible using the second generation Qi-certified Google Pixel Stand and a 30W USB-C adapter, both of which are sold separately.
According to the marketing images, the 30W USB-C adapter takes the Google Pixel 6 Pro from 1% to 50% in just 30 minutes.
