Apple already released the iOS 17 beta to developers and public beta testers, but that doesn't mean the company's done updating iOS 16. There's already a new iOS 16.6 software update in the works, and it's coming very soon to your iPhone. The release candidate for iOS 16, the beta version most likely to be the same as the stable version when it comes out, was released on July 18. Unless there's a huge issue with the software update, we can expect it to be the iOS 16.6 version to be released to the public between July 20 and July 28.
