Mobile casino game player spending in the US rose 16.4% to $4.8 billion over the last 12 months, according to the latest data by Sensor Tower.
The top performing Casino game according to player spending in the US between September 2020 and August 2021 was Coin Master from Moon Active which generated $650.5 million and had 8.4 million downloads.
The second top grossing Casino game was Bingo Blitz.
The Casino genre generated 142 million installs over the last year, a decline of 25.8%.
The top revenue generating sub-genre were Slots games where player spending rose 13.2% to $3.3 billion.
Slots games saw 64.4 million installs and was the fastest-growing subcategory for downloads.
The sub-genre generated around $51 per download over the last year.
The fastest-growing subgenre for revenue was the Bingo genre, with player spending rising 30.7% to $499 million.
Casino was the number 2 revenue generating genre in the US across both app stores.
Coin Master accounted for 96% of Social Casino revenues while Bingo Blitz accounted for 54% of player spending in the Bingo subgenre.
