ironSource, the platform that helps app developers engage users and monetise content, is acquiring app monetisation and mobile ad firm Tapjoy for a purchase price of around $400 million.
Tapjoy generated an estimated $81 million in revenues in 2021. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.

ironSource plans to add Tapjoy to its mobile app and game offering to help developers diversify their options.
Clients will benefit from complementary technology to enrich their in-game economies.

The transaction is expected to close in late 2021 or early 2022.
