Instagram is making shopping even more interactive this holiday season . The company added Live Shopping events that allow users to view exclusive offers in-app presented by celebrities and featuring emerging brands.
Users just need to click on Holiday Picks in the Instagram Shop tab.
Here, creators are curating the latest trends.
On Fridays throughout November the Live Shopping Series will feature talented Black creators via the #BuyBlack hashtag.
Between December 5-15, Instagram is hosting Holiday Pop-Up Shop Live events and throughout much of the holiday season, there’ll be exclusive offers on fashion, beauty and lifestyle products with 20% off the first purchase.
Instagram said that since it launched the @shop account it has featured over 700 small businesses and founder stories.
From November 15, the account will launch Gift Guides by price and as of November 29 it is featuring sustainable party inspirations and products.
The move for more extended in-app shopping features is the latest in a series by the app as it looks to broaden its mCommerce appeal.
