Mobile engagement platform MoEngage just raised $30 million in a series D funding round led by Steadview Capital.
The latest round brings the total raised to $102 million and comes just six months after the company raised $32 million in a Series C1.
Over the past 12 months the company also added 350 new clients include Domino’s Pizza, IHH Healthcare and The Body Shop.
It launched offices in Boston, London, Ho Chi Minh City and Berlin and now has close to 500 employees.
MoEngage provides AI automation and optimisation tools for push, email, in-app and ad retargeting campaigns.
The company plans to use the latest cash infection to expand globally and bolster its customer support team.
“In today’s digital-first world, where brands compete based on customer experience, marketers should move away from a “campaign-centric” approach to a “customer-centric” strategy. Our unique insights-led framework helps consumer brands gain deep insights into their customer’s preferences. They can use these insights to build meaningful cross-channel communication across the customer’s lifecycle,” said co-founder and CEO Raviteja Dodda.
MoEngage confirmed it would continue to invest in its Sherpa AI engine which gives marketers greater visibility into customer behavior, likes, channel preferences, the optimal frequency and timing of messages, product or content preferences, ideal cross-channel journeys, and more.
