It's now easier than ever to put aside an individual podcast episode to listen to later, thanks to a Spotify update which means you don't need to subscribe to a podcast to keep an episode.
Save Podcast Episodes to Listen to Later
On Spotify, if you subscribe to a podcast, every episode of the show will go to your library so you can listen whenever. But what if it's a podcast that you don't subscribe to?
Until now, when you wanted to hear the episode, you would have to search for the podcast every time.
That's now changed. Even if you don't subscribe to a podcast, you can save individual episodes to your library.
It's a simple feature, but one that helps move Spotify along its intended path of being the ultimate podcast destination.

All you need to do is find the podcast episode and tap the plus button next to it. The podcast then appears in a new "Your Episodes" area, found within the Podcasts section of the Spotify app.
The individual episode works like anything else---you can keep it in your library as long as you like, download it for offline listening, and remove it when finished.
Spotify Is Great for Music and Podcasts
While Spotify began as a music app, it's become so much more. The company is making a big push into the podcast world and trying to innovate. One such example is Spotify's new audio experiences that blends podcast narration and music into one.
