If you're a fan of Amazon's music streaming service with an Android TV or Chromecast with Google TV device, today is your lucky day, as Amazon has just made the Amazon Music app available to both types of devices with a streamlined interface that looks quite pleasant and easy-to-use.
Amazon Music on Google TV and Android TV
Whether you use the free tier of Amazon Music, the tier included for free with Amazon Prime, or the premium version that costs $7.99 per month with Prime or $9.99 without, you can listen to your favorite songs through the newly-available application.
The UI puts a strong emphasis on playlists and stations, but you can also choose your favorite songs from your library or specific artists, just like you would on other operating systems.
Amazon Music App Availability
The app is available in a ton of different counties. If you live in the US, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, or Australia, you can download the app.
Interestingly, the app was already available on Android TV, but it was limited to only the NVIDIA Shield. Now, it's available on far more Android TV devices, which is a good thing. As far as we can tell, it's available on all devices, but some obscure Android TV devices might not have access.
