If you own an LG V60 on Verizon, chances are you've been waiting for Android 11 to release. After all, who doesn't want to take advantage of the awesome new features offered by the latest Android version?
Fortunately, that patience is paying off, as Verizon has finally started rolling Android 11 out to LG V60 devices, as spotted by Droid-Life.
What Does Android 11 Bring to the LG V60?
As far as features, Android 11 adds a ton of new stuff to Android that LG V60 owners will enjoy. It comes with the new conversation bubbles, camera features, and additional settings in the quick setting panel like Focus Mode, Bedtime Mode, and Nearby Share.
Additionally, the update comes with UI adjustments to the volume display and Quick settings pane, making using the phone more pleasant.
There's also a Quick Video option, which allows you to press and hold the shutter button to record a video quickly. It's limited to short videos, but it's faster than switching to the video mode when you need to capture the moment quickly.
Outside of the Android 11 features, of which there are plenty, the update also includes the January 2021 security patch.
It adds a ton of stuff, and you can read the release notes to find out everything that comes with it.
When Can You Download Android 11?
The update should be available now. If you want to check, go to Settings, then tap About Phone, followed by Software updates, and finally tap Check for update.
