Twitter has long been working on a subscription service through which it aims to offer subscribers additional premium features. Now, the first details about the company's subscription service have leaked online, which will be called "Twitter Blue."
The subscription service will cost $2.99/month. One of the features that will be a part of "Twitter Blue" will be the ability to undo a sent tweet.
Subscribers Will Gain Access to Exclusive New Twitter Features
Security researcher Jane Manchun Wong shared the details about Twitter's subscription service on Twitter itself. The social networking platform previously confirmed that it was working on an undo tweet feature, though it never mentioned that it would be only available to paid subscribers.
Twitter is calling their upcoming Subscription Service “Twitter Blue”, priced at $2.99/month for now, including paid features like:

Twitter will let paid subscribers select the duration of the undo tweet timer from anywhere between 5 seconds to 30 seconds. The undo tweet feature won't retract a tweet that's sent. It will just delay posting the tweet by few seconds.
Apart from undo tweets, Twitter will also offer "Collections" to its paid subscribers. This will allow you to "save and organize your favorite tweets into Collections so that they're easier to find later." This is among the most requested feature from many Twitter users.
Twitter recently acquired Scroll to bolster its subscription plans. It could bundle a Scroll subscription as a part of Twitter Blue, thereby allowing its subscribers to read content from their favorite publishers without ads. Twitter could also leverage its Revue acquisition to allow Twitter Blue subscribers to send out newsletters to their followers.
Twitter Blue Could Help Twitter Generate Additional Revenue

Twitter's subscription service is still under development, and there has not been any word from the company on when it would launch it. Thus, it is possible that the $2.99/month subscription pricing could change before the feature goes live.
Twitter is also heavily focusing on Twitter Spaces, its Clubhouse competitor. It recently expanded the service to anyone with over 600 followers. It is also planning on bringing "Ticketed Spaces" to the platform, thereby allowing hosts to generate money from their Spaces.
The subscription service will be an important one for Twitter as it would allow it to generate additional revenue. Twitter has not managed to grow at the same pace as Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms despite playing an important role in many key events over the last decade. Thus, it is now looking to expand its revenue sources by offering a subscription service to its existing users.
