Instagram said it would be bringing back its Stories draft feature earlier this year and now it’s finally live.
Drafts become automatically activated when a user leaves a post half-way through posting.
You can then either save a Stories draft or delete it. Drafts are stored for a week and you’ll receive an alert when one is deleted.
The feature is a bonus for creators and brands using the app regularly because it allows them to craft elaborate Stories, but save and post them at the best time for audience reach.
Until now, users either had to download Stories draft to their phones or use third-party apps to save them.
The feature is now available globally.
