PUBG New State from Krafton was the most downloaded game in November 2021, according to the latest data from SensorTower.
The game was installed 32 million times with India dominating the downloads at almost 30%, followed by the US (12%).
Overall, the mobile gaming market saw downloads of 4.4 billion on both the App Store and Google Play, which is level with downloads from 2020.
Garena Free Fire ranked as the second most installed mobile game lat month with around 22 million installs, a 19% rise over November 2020.
India saw the highest installs at 33.3% followed by Brazil at 10.5%.
The games rounding out the top five in terms of installs last month included Merge Animals 3D, Subway Surfers and Candy Crush Saga.
India saw the highest number of installs overall with 743 million or 17% of global downloads, followed by the US (9%) and Brazil (8%).
It’s evident that mobile games have performed well over the last two years.
In-game spending in 2021 accounted for most of the revenues on the App Store (61.5%) and Google Play (78%) in 2021, according to eMarketer. However, overall in-app spending is forecast to dip from 71.7% in 2020 to 67.4% in 2021.
