The next big software update for iPhone, iOS 16.5, is already in the works. It began beta testing just one day after the stable release of iOS 16.4 — and anyone can jump on board to try out all the new features before everyone else. We expect iOS 16.5 to drop sometime in April or May, but we'll have a better idea as the beta period progresses. The stable release will be getting close to Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) starting June 5, where Apple will announce iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and other projects, including the much-awaited xrOS software for the rumored Apple VR/AR headset... more
